Tibetan Honey Back Massage
Tibetan Honey Massage (Deep Tissue Pressure & Detoxing)
The honey massage is a holistic natural healing method based on the principles of Eastern Europe folk and Tibetan medicine. This ancient traditional form of massage is still practised in Eurasian countries today. It was used as a home remedy in families in the absence of expensive medication or a doctor. This simple treatment was particularly popular for back tension and the onset of colds. Although this treatment is not considered a traditional Ayurvedic therapy, it is excellent for the Kapha constitution and its resulting disorders.
The massage has connective tissue firming, cleansing, and fat-reducing properties. Using a special tapping and pulling technique, the honey is worked deeper and deeper into the connective tissue. The honey massage harmonises the aura, restores balance to the energy flow in the srotas, and stimulates the nervous and immune systems.
This is a remedial massage. For nervous system relaxation, please explore my other treatments.
The honey massage is effective in treating various issues, including:

Nasya, a traditional Ayurvedic therapy, involves the administration of herbal oils through the nasal passages. This practice is known for its profound benefits on mental clarity, respiratory health, and overall well-being. By targeting the upper respiratory tract, Nasya can help alleviate sinus congestion, headaches, and even anxiety.
The process typically begins with a gentle massage around the nose and forehead to promote relaxation and open the nasal passages. Following this, warm herbal oils infused with various medicinal herbs are instilled in the nostrils. The use of specific oils can vary based on individual needs and imbalances, providing a personalised approach to health.
Regular practice of Nasya can enhance the function of the senses, particularly those associated with smell. It is believed to rejuvenate the mind, improve concentration, and support emotional balance. Additionally, it serves as a preventive measure against seasonal allergies and respiratory ailments.

What is Kneipp Cure?
Being able to offer a hot/cold plunge pool, Infrared Sauna, and a variety of other therapies, I would like to introduce you to the Kneipp method. Kneipp is a traditional approach with which I grew up in my hometown of Bad Lausick. In our community, we have thoughtfully integrated cool water areas designed for walking through in the town’s open spaces, supporting recovery for all visitors attending one of the four renowned rehabilitation centres.
The Kneipp Cure is named after its founder, Sebastian Kneipp (1821–1897), a Bavarian priest and one of the pioneering figures in the naturopathic medicine movement. This therapy is a holistic system based on Kneipp’s teachings and includes five fundamental pillars: water treatments, exercise, nutrition, medicinal plants, and lifestyle practices, so all in all very similar to the Ayurvedic philosophy. The primary aim of this approach is to promote overall well-being by harmonising the body, mind, and soul, fostering long-term health and vitality.
The five pillars of the Kneipp cure in detail:
Water treatments (hydrotherapy): Contrast baths, showers, water treading, and other treatments with cold and warm water to stimulate circulation and strengthen the immune system.
Exercise: Targeted physical activities such as gymnastics, walks, swimming, or cycling to improve physical fitness and stimulate the metabolism.
Diet: A balanced and wholesome diet with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit, regional and seasonal products, high-quality proteins and fats, and avoiding too much sugar and alcohol.
Medicinal plants: Use of herbs and plant extracts to relieve symptoms and support health.
Life order (order therapy): Promoting a regular daily routine, avoiding stress and hecticness, and creating peace and balance in everyday life.
The Kneipp cure is used both preventively and to treat various ailments.
If you want to add a session but are unsure which one suits you, feel free to contact me.
